What You’ll Need:

Olympic Torch


Can’t get enough of the Olympics? Create your very own torch for the Olympic flame, hold an opening ceremony, then participate in your own Olympic games!

What You’ll Need:
*Paper towel cardboard roll
*Aluminum foil
*Olympic decorations such as stickers, or markers for decorating
*Orange construction paper or tissue paper
*Tape

Preparation:
*Decide ahead of time which “sports” you want to have in your Olympics. Some suggestions below.

Bingo Dot Cherry Tree


We cannot tell a lie! These bingo dot cherry trees are a fun way to celebrate George Washington’s birthday. Don’t have a bingo dauber? That’s OK – use a Q-tip or fingertip and red paint instead.

What You’ll Need:

*Red bingo dauber (available at most dollar stores) OR Q-tip and red paint

A hands-on craft that will make a great Valentine for Mom, Dad, grandparents, teachers – anyone you want to Be Yours this Valentine’s Day!

Preparation:
*Have your child wash their hands and dry them thoroughly.

Activity:
*Use the paintbrush to paint your child’s palm and fingers red. If you have a very young child, you may want to do one hand at a time.

Will Your Groundhog See its Shadow?

Will you have an early spring or six more weeks of winter? Create your own groundhog and find out!

What You’ll Need:
*Groundhog template, see below (1 template makes 4 crafts)
*Paper plate
*Crayons, markers, etc.
*Scissors
*Glue
*Popsicle sticks (1 per craft)

Preparation:
*Print out a groundhog template – either the PDF OR MS Word versions below.
*Poke a hole in the center of the paper plate with the scissors.
