To make the mask, cut a large circle out of white paper, small circles out of yellow paper for the eyes, triangles out of yellow paper and white paper for the ears and teeth, and a nose out of orange paper. Cut brown strips for the hair and eyebrows. Add some glue and your monster is all set to scare!

Driver's License

Cut white paper into a rectangle shape. Write your home state, child's name & age, and add some stickers. You can even add a photo of your child if you want. Cover with contact paper. Use your driver's license with the Gas Pump Activity and pretend to be racecar drivers!

Gas Pump

Stack two empty boxes and decorate with markers, bottle caps, etc., to make a gas pump. Tie some yarn to a squirt bottle and attach the other end of the yarn to the side of the cardboard box. Pretend Kitchen/Supermarket

Puppet Theater

Decorate a shoebox with wrapping paper, stickers, and fabric scraps for the curtains, to make a shoebox puppet theater. Use the Popsicle Stick Puppets to make up a play or puppet show.

Postcards & Post Office Field Trip

Cut old cereal boxes into rectangles. On the blank side, use a marker to make it look like the back of a postcard. Glue photos or pictures from magazines to the other side. Take a field trip to the post office and ask if you can take a tour. Mail your postcards while you are there, or use them with your pretend play mailbox.
