What You’ll Need:
*Paper
*Crayons
*Stickers/Old Magazines
*Yarn
*Hanger
*Scissors
*Hold punch or sharp pencil
*Glue

Preparation:
*Cut out one 3-inch circle for each letter of your child’s name. Then cut out 2 or 3 2-inch circles for each letter of your child’s name.

Activity:
*Talk with your child about the letters in his or her name. Talk about the sounds those letters make and how to form the letters.
*On each large circle, write one letter of your child’s name in dashed lines. Have your child trace over the lines to write their name, one letter per circle.
*Working on one letter at a time, talk about what other words begin with those sounds. Look through magazines or stickers together to find things your child likes that begin with each letter of his or her name. Glue or stick them onto your smaller circles.
*Using the yarn and the hole punch, punch holes in the circles and string them on your hanger. Make sure the name circles are on top and in the correct order and that each item goes under the letter it begins with.
*Send us a picture of your kids and their name mobiles we may post it to our site! info@mycalendarmaker.com.
