Beach Towel Poncho
A creative way to re-use your towels and keep kids dry!
What You’ll Need:
*If you are using a new towel, wash and dry according to instructions.
*Fold your towel in half, right sides out. Along the top fold, cut out a “V” shape. The size of the “V” will depend on the size of your child. Start small, see if it will fit over their heads. If not, make it a bit bigger and try again.
*Run a stitch along the V-shaped neckhole to keep the towel from fraying.
*Fold your towel in half with right-sides in. Pin the long sides together.
*Sew each side together, leaving about a 5 to 6 inch opening at the end with the fold for armholes. Remove pins & turn right side out.
*Send us a picture of your kids wearing their ponchos and we may post it to our site! firstname.lastname@example.org.
