Are the kids getting tired of the same old sandbox or beach toys? Make this dinosaur fossil out of pasta. Bury it in your sandbox or at the beach and watch your young archaeologists go to work!
What You’ll Need:
*Dinosaur template (optional) see attachments below
*Cardstock or construction paper
*Pasta, dry (we used cut ziti and elbows), about 1 cup per craft
*Dry paintbrush (optional)
*Draw a dinosaur on the paper, or print out one of our dinosaur templates below – either MS Word OR PDF file.
*Glue the pasta along the outside of the dinosaur.
*Allow to dry thoroughly.
*Bury the “fossil” in the sandbox or at the beach (don’t forget where you buried it!) and have your child use the paintbrush to “dig” for the dinosaur fossil.
*Send us a picture of your archaeologists and we may post it to our site! email@example.com.
