Make your own Rainbow Crayons
Re-use old crayon bits and pieces to create new rainbow colors.
What You’ll Need:
*Old crayon pieces
*Hammer, meat tenderizer, rolling pin, etc.
*Preheat your oven to 175 degrees.
*Have the kids help you unwrap any paper left on the crayons. Break them up into small pieces and place in the Ziploc bag.
*Use the hammer, meat tenderizer, or rolling pin to bash the crayons into tiny pieces. It’s OK if not all the pieces are broken up.
*Shake up the bag and sprinkle a handful of crayon pieces into each cupcake mold. You only need to cover the bottom – about ¼ to ½ inch full.
*Bake for about 20 minutes – just until most of the crayons have melted. Allow to cool completely.Pop out of the pan and enjoy!
*Send us a picture of your rainbow crayon artwork we may post it to our site! email@example.com.
