Jazz up your holiday table this year with a place card you can make with your little ones.

What You’ll Need:
*Red and Green Felt
*Scissors
*Glue
*thread/needle
*buttons
*Bobbie Pins
*White Paper

Preparation:
*Cut the red and green felt into leaf/petal shapes. You’ll need one green leaf and five red petals.
*With the needle and thread, thread the red petals, banner style, tying a knot at each end of the thread.

Activity:
*Have your child help you to scrunch all the petals to one side by gently pulling the opposite end. Position your petals into a circle and tie your thread ends together to keep them tightly scrunched in the flower shape.
*Glue the green leaf to the back and glue or sew a button onto the front. Allow to dry.
*Glue a bobbie pin to the back of your flower. Allow to dry.
*Fold your white paper in half to make place card. Write your guests’ names. You can have your child help and practice writing their letters and spelling friends’ and family members’ names.
*Pin the flower to the card and enjoy your holiday feast!!
*Send us a picture of your holiday table we may post it to our site! info@mycalendarmaker.com.
