Bubble week continues with our recipe for homemade bubbles. If you like this craft, you’ll also like our Bubble Unit - with 6 more great games, experiments, and crafts.

What You’ll Need:
*1/2 cup dish liquid
*2 cups water
*2 teaspoons sugar

*Go on a scavenger hunt around your house for anything you can use to blow a bubble. Some suggestions: straws, cookie cutters, hair ties, pipe cleaners, strainers, etc.
*Did you know? No matter what shape a bubble starts in, it will always try to get to a sphere (or ball shape) as quickly as possible. This is because a sphere has the least amount of surface area of any shape, which will help the bubble last longer and float better. Try it and see! Use your camera to capture the shape of the bubble as it comes out of your various bubble blowers.

*Mix all the ingredients together and head outside. Which of your bubble blowing tools blows the biggest bubble? Best bubble? Longest lasting bubble?
*Send us a picture of your kids and their bubbles we may post it to our site!
