Super-Cool Water Play

Free Custom Photo Calendars

Need a little chill during this heat wave? Your kids will cool off and use their tactile senses with this super-cool idea.

What You’ll Need:
*Small toys that are OK to get wet: plastic figures, erasers, cars, wooden blocks, etc.
*Small plastic containers
*Large plastic tub, wading pool, or water table

*This activity will need to be done the night before to let everything freeze solid.

*Place a few toys in each of the small plastic containers and fill with water. Place in the freezer overnight.
*When you are ready for water play, fill up the tub, pool, or water table with water. Pop the iced toys out of the small plastic containers and dump them in the water. Kids will LOVE watching the ice melt and the toys “magically” come out into the water.
*Send us a picture of your kids playing with their super-cool water toys and we may post it to our site!

Suggested Resources:
