"Hand"-made Spring Flowers
These “hand”-made flowers are the perfect way to get into the spirit of spring! And they make a great gift for grandparents, too!
What You’ll Need:
*Walk through your garden to see what color flowers are starting to come up and decide what colors to use for your flowers.
*Use a paintbrush to paint one of your child’s hands. Help them press it firmly near the top center of the page. Repeat with various colors, positioning the painted hand in various spots across the top of the page.
*Clean your child’s hands thoroughly with baby wipes or paper towels. Have them paint a vase at the bottom center of the page. If your child is very young, you can trace the shape lightly in pencil, then have them paint over it.
*Once the vase is in place, you can now paint in the stems connecting your “hand”-made flowers and your vase. Add leaves, too.
*Send us a picture of your flowers and we may post it to our site! firstname.lastname@example.org.
