Flower Pattern Shirts
Take a plain shirt that you’re bored with, or a favorite shirt with some stains, and turn it into a new and fashionable look! If you like this craft, check out our Patriotic T-Shirts - another fun way to update your wardrobe.
What You’ll Need:
*Tank or t-shirt to wear underneath
*Use chalk to draw a simple flower shape on your t-shirt. You don’t want the pieces you cut out to be too big – they should be small or narrow so the fabric won’t roll.
*Cut out the flower shapes. Layer over the tank or t-shirt for a great new look!
*Now’s a great time to talk with your kids about the importance of reusing and recycling things like t-shirts. We don’t always need to run to the store to get new clothes if something gets stained or worn. By using techniques such as the cutting and layering in this post, or using patches as in the Suggested Resources link, you can make clothes last longer.
*Send us a picture of your kids and their new wardrobe we may post it to our site! firstname.lastname@example.org.
