A fun way to bring fishing indoors! If you like this craft, check out Basement Bowling -- another great indoor activity.

What You’ll Need:
*One stick or dowel rod
*Crayons or colored pencils
*String or yarn
*White paper
*Scissors
*Contact paper or cardboard, optional
*Glue
*Paper clips
*Magnet (swipe one from your refrigerator)

Preparation:
*Go outside and get a stick for your fishing pole.
*Draw a simple fish shape on white paper and cut out as many fish as you’d like.

Activity:
*Color the fish. Cover in contact paper or glue to cardboard, for added durability.
*Attach a piece of string or yarn to your stick or dowel rod by adding glue to tip and wrapping one end of the string around the top. Let dry.


*Cut out and color in a worm shape. Poke a small hole through the worm and tie it to the other end of the fishing pole string. Glue a small magnet to the underside of the worm.
*Add a paper clip to each of the fish. Go fishing by collecting fish with the worm magnet!
