Father's Day: Mess-Free Tie Dye Shirts

Free Custom Photo Calendars

Create a mess-free “tie-dye” style shirt for Dad this Father’s Day.

What You’ll Need:
*White shirt
*Permanent markers in various colors
*Spray bottle
*Rubbing alcohol
*Paper shopping bag or newspaper

*Wash and dry the shirt according to the instructions on the label.
*Fill the spray bottle with rubbing alcohol.

*Place the shopping bag or newspaper inside the shirt so the color won’t bleed from front to back.
*Laying the shirt on a flat surface, use the markers to create a colorful design on the shirt. We recommend some sort of large pattern, such as concentric circles, large wavy lines, etc.
*Spray the marker lines with the alcohol. The marker should start to spread and blend together. Allow to dry thoroughly.
*Repeat on the back of the shirt. Allow to dry thoroughly. Wash and dry the shirt again, on the gentle cycle and on its own.
*Send us a picture of Dad wearing your shirt and we may post it to our site! info@mycalendarmaker.com.
