Cut & Paste Menorah

Free Custom Photo Calendars

It's not too late to do this easy Hanukkah craft. Keep track of all eight nights of Hanukkah with this cut and paste menorah.

What You’ll Need:
*1 Menorah coloring sheet per child (see MS Word OR PDF attachments below)
*Crayons
*Scissors
*Glue
*Construction paper.

Preparation:
*Explain to your child that there are eight nights of Hanukkah. We light the highest candle (usually in the center or on the end of the menorah), called the Shamash, plus one candle for each night.
*Remember that we add the candles from RIGHT to LEFT, but we "light" the candles from LEFT to RIGHT. (Newest candle gets lit first.)

Activity:
*Color the menorah and the candles.
*Cut out the menorah and glue it to the construction paper. Be sure to leave room at the top for your candles!
*On the first night of Hanukkah, glue the center candle (the Shamash) to the menorah, plus the candle all the way to the right.
*Each night of Hanukkah, add another candle from right to left.
