Acorn Tree

Free Custom Photo Calendars

Here is a simple craft that can also double as Autumn décor. Your supplies are all around you, so head outside and gather some acorns and twigs. You can enjoy the nature walk as an activity with your children, too!

What You’ll Need:
*4-6 acorns per tree
*Twig or small branch
*Paint brushes
*Some twine or ribbon

*Assemble supplies for each child. It’s easier to remove the acorn “hats” and glue back after acorns are painted and dried.

*Have your child paint his/her acorns.
*Once dry, you can have them glue the “hat” back on. Glue the piece of twine or string to the “hat”. Alllow to dry completely.
*Have them hang their acorns on their twig “tree”.
*Find a good spot to display the finished product and enjoy a little bit of the outdoors inside!
*Send us a picture of your kids and their acorn trees we may post it to our site!
